LANSDALE, PA — A new facility for pickleball, a mini-paddle activity that is played on 44-foot long courts, will open up in Lansdale this summer. It is one of two new locations opening in Montgomery County.
The new indoor facility will be located on 1180 Church Road in Lansdale. The owners, Dill Dinkers, say that it will have 11 courts with fences, an event space, a ball machine, pro shop, and an advanced reserve system for both members and visitors.
There will also be a new facility in Hatboro, on 330 S. Warminster Road, which features 19 courts.

"Pickleball is truly an all-encompassing sport, and being a player myself, I am confident Hatboro and Lansdale will appreciate Dill Dinkers as much as I do,” said owner Andrew Wakefield.“We’re eager to open in early August and offer all players access to court time year-round. I am looking forward to building meaningful relationships through my Dill Dinkers business by meeting, supporting, and employing people who are just as passionate about the sport and the community it cultivates."
The Lansdale and Hatboro locations will also offer clinics, private and semi-private lessons, round robin tournaments, and leagues.
