Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Lansdale police.

LANSDALE, PA — Authorities in Lansdale are investigating the circumstances around a suspicious noose-like item found in Whites Road Park.
The item, which appears to be looped on both ends like a noose, was found in a tree around 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, police said in a news release. It was determined the item was an extension cord tied on each end.
A police spokesperson told Patch no messages or writings were found. It's unclear at this time whether the item was left in the park intentionally.
