North Penn And Lansdale Catholic Girls, Football Players, Make History

The local student-athlete is among the first girls to ever be recognized for football achievement by the 87-year-old club.

LANSDALE, PA — Two girls at North Penn and Lansdale Catholic are making history.

North Penn's Natalie Gordon and Lansdale Catholic's Stefania DiPalma, who compete on their flag football teams, will be officially honored by the Maxwell Football Club at their upcoming regional awards event on Feb. 4.

They will receive the Mini Max Award. They'll be among a group of women who are the first female players ever recognized by the 87-year-old club.

Maxwell honors football players at every level of competition, ranging from high school and college all the way up to the pros. The Mini Max awards specifically recognize flag football excellence.
