North Penn Students Sell 'NP Strong For Ukraine' Bracelets
North Penn High School sophomores were inspired to help the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine given the daily updates on the Russian invasion.
LANSDALE, PA — Sophomores at North Penn High School wanted to do something to show their support for the people of Ukraine as they continue to suffer under the Russian invasion, so they sprang into action, creating and selling "NP Strong for Ukraine" bracelets at their Montgomery County school district.
"We saw what was happening in Ukraine, we were all concerned and wanted to do something that would help it," sophomore class cabinet member Saanvi Patel told The Knight Crier, which is the North Penn High School student newspaper. "We saw other schools doing some similar stuff, where they sold small things for a dollar so we thought these bracelets would be a good idea."
