Cancelled and Rescheduled North Penn Events

North Penn School District is closing all district buildings at 6 p.m. today, due to the forecasted winter weather.

All buildings will remain closed until 1 p.m. Saturday.

The district announced that all school and community activities scheduled between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday will not be held and may be rescheduled.

Souderton Area School District has also cancelled events for this evening through noon Saturday.

Events scheduled for tonight included:

• Bridle Path/Gwyn-Nor/North Wales Father-Daughter Dances at 7 p.m.
• A.M. Kulp's Valentine's Dance at 7 p.m.
• North Penn High School's Mr. North Penn event at 7 p.m.
• Oak Park Family Dance at 7 p.m.
• Pennbrook/Pennfield Valentine's Dances at 7 p.m.
• Penndale SGA Valentine's Dance at 7 p.m.
• Walton Farm Family Game Night at 7 p.m.
• North Penn High School's Saturday School from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
• General Nash's Winter Carnival at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Here are rescheduled dates for the above events:

• General Nash's Winter Carnival is rescheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m.
• Pennbrook's Valentine's Dance is rescheduled for March 15.
• Gwyn-Nor Father-Daughter Dance is rescheduled for February 22.
• Pennfield Valentine's Dance is rescheduled for February 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Students who cannot attend the dance next week and need a refund should see Mrs. Bovell in Room 56.
