Holiday Vehicle Thieves Caught Red-Handed In Conshohocken: Police
Authorities said thefts from vehicles occurred in Conshohocken on three consecutive nights, right after Christmas.
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Police caught a man attempting to steal a vehicle red-handed in Conshohocken on Sunday night, and they said he's responsible for a string of incidents over the past several nights.
Officers were patrolling the 100 block of West Third Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 28 when they spotted the burglary in progress, police said.
The suspect, identified only as a 28-year-old man, fled but was captured after a brief foot chase.

A second 28-year-old man was found nearby, along with the vehicle that authorities had already connected to other incidents, according to police.
The investigation determined that thefts from vehicles had occurred in the borough on three consecutive nights, Dec. 26, 27, and 28, and that the suspects were driving a vehicle that was stolen from Philadelphia on Dec. 21, authorities said.

Conshohocken Police received "extensive assistance" from residents and local businesses who provided surveillance video and eyewitness information.
Charges against the two suspects are pending.
