Philadelphia Folk Festival Announces 2025 Lineup

The legendary music celebration, camping event, and concert returns to Montgomery County for its 62nd year.

UPPER SALFORD, PA — The Philadelphia Folk Festival, one of the region's oldest and most storied music events, will return to Montgomery County this summer for its 62nd year.

The festival will be held at Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township from Aug. 15 to Aug. 17.

It's gained legendary status among the regional folk musical community and the thousands of attendees who go each year.

“I have been coming to Festsince I was three months old, and my family has been involved for decades," said Julie Leinhauser, a longtime volunteer at the festival gate. "(There's) my main gate family and my campsite family, who are truly my closest friends and a part of my family."

Last week, organizers announced additional performers for the event, including Alejandro Escovedo, Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole, Eileen Ivers, The Gibson Brothers, The Lee Boys, Ordinary Elephant, and more.

Other "main stage" performers include Alison Brown, American Patchwork Quartet, The April Fools, David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach, John Gorka, John McCutcheon, John Moreland, Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, Robin & Linda Williams, Solas, Sonia Disappear Fear, Tim O’Brien with Jan Fabricius, and Vanessa Collier.

Additional performers include Ben de la Cour, Brittany Ann Tranbaugh, Cloudbelly, Elijah Wald; Goldpine, Jesse Terry, The Kennedys, Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise, Larry Ahearn, Lili Anel, Max Davey; Reggie Harris, and Sam Robbins.

There will also be a special Thursday night event, on Aug. 14, just for attendees who are camping out. The lineup for that night will be announced in July.
