Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued In Souderton Area

Part of Montgomery County could see 60 mile per hour winds, quarter sized hail, and other seirous impacts.

SOUDERTON, PA — Part of northwestern Montgomery County is under a severe thunderstorm warning Tuesday afternoon, officials said, as a storm front bringing potentially destructive winds and other serious impacts is on the way to the region.

The warning is in effect until 1 p.m. for Souderton, Green Lane, Pennsburg, and parts of Bucks County including Quakertown, Perkasie, Coopersburg, and Richlandtown.

Potential impacts include wind up to 60 miles per hour, quarter sized hail, and heavy rain where the thunderstorms are strongest.
