'Shots Fired' Call Gets SWAT Team Response Friday In Montco
SWAT team members were called out to North Wales Borough after a report of a shooting in neighboring Lansdale Friday morning.

LANSDALE, PA — A report of 'shots fired' in the borough Friday morning led to SWAT team officers being dispatched to neighboring North Wales, police announced.
Lansdale Police officials said that a call came in around 5:53 a.m. Friday regarding a possible shooting on the unit block of East Third Street.
There were no reported injuries at the home where the shooting reportedly took place.

Witnesses told officers that they saw a black vehicle fleeing the area of the shooting and responding officers from nearby Upper Gwynedd Township were able to observe the vehicle travel along Wissahickon Avenue, police stated.
The vehicle involved in the suspected shooting was then tracked to the 200 block of Elm Avenue in neighboring North Wales Borough, and SWAT team members were ultimately called to the scene to assist.
