Souderton HS Boys Distance Relay Places 5th In Nation In Historic Run
The relay squad ran one of the fastest times in Pennsylvania history. And 3 other relays placed in the top 9 in the national championship.
SOUDERTON, PA — It's been a good winter for Souderton boys track.
The local squad finished off their winter in powerful fashion this weekend at the Nike Nationals at New York City's famed 168th Street Armory.
Four separate Souderton relay teams finished among the top nine in the nation. They were lead by their distance medley relay team, which placed fifth overall and ran the fastest time in Pennsylvania thus far this year.

The team of Aidan Kearns, James Kuduk, Matthew Myers, and Aiden Maue ran 10:13.58, which is the sixth fastest DMR run by a Pennsylvania team in state history, according to coach Jimmy Stevenson.
"Incredibly historic season," Stevenson told Patch. "Even more bright things ahead for the boys."

Kearns, Kuduk, and Maue were joined by Lance Midboe in the 4xmile, and Justin Stauffer in the 4x800m respectively. Both squads placed eighth.
Finally, the 4x200m relay, comprised of Vaughn Cole, Lorrell Pagent Thomas, Matthew Myers, Mateo Barrera, and Bryce Solly placed 8th overall.
