State Rep. Steve Malagari Of Montgomery County Announces Reelection Bid
Democratic State Rep. Steve Malagari has announced he is seeking reelection to the Pennsylvania 53rd Legislative District.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Democratic State Rep. Steve Malagari has announced he is running for reelection.
Malagari, who represents Pennsylvania's 53rd Legislative District, made the announcement recently on social media.
"I'm looking forward to continuing to serve you for another term in Harrisburg," he recently posted to Facebook. "Thank you for all of your support."

Malagari is a Lansdale native who graduated from North Penn High School.
His biography says that he was once one of the youngest members of Lansdale Borough Council.

Malagari, who was first elected to state office in 2018, is a former beverage seller who is an "impassioned advocate for working and middle-class families," according to his legislative bio.
Malagari reportedly resides blocks from where he grew up within the 53rd Legislative District.
The 53rd Legislative District includes the townships of Franconia, Hatfield and Salford and the boroughs of Hatfield, Lansdale, Souderton and Telford in Montgomery County.
