Sudden Rash Of Thefts From Vehicles In Montgomery Twp: Police

Police are alerting local residents after the incidents this week.

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Several thefts from vehicles were reported around Montgomery Township Tuesday, police said.

The incidents occurred in the early morning hours on Aug. 5.

Police did not specify exactly how many vehicles were stolen from, but indicated "several" incidents around the area.

Specifically, the Heather Knoll and Canterbury developments were hit.

A suspect was identified in the below video.

Police say residents should keep vehicles locked at all times and avoid leaving valuables inside their vehicles.
