Turnpike to Close One Northbound Lane Wednesday Night

Be prepared for a single-lane traffic pattern to go into effect tonight, until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Per PennDOT:

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling northbound on the turnpike’s Northeastern Extension (I-476) between Mid-County (Exit #20) and the Lansdale (Exit #31) Interchange to be prepared for a single-lane traffic pattern to go into effect tonight, Wednesday (June 19), at 9 p.m., until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.

At 9 p.m., turnpike maintenance personnel will establish a single-lane pattern northbound, closing the left lane between milepost A24 through A25 for emergency bridge deck repairs where the turnpike crosses Skippack Pike at milepost A24.8. The pattern will remain in effect until maintenance crews have completed the emergency repairs by 6 a.m. Thursday.
