Unhoused Man Cut Down 10 Trees In Lansdale's Stony Creek Park: Police
Charges were filed against the man last week.
LANSDALE, PA — An unhoused man cut down 10 trees around Lansdale's Stony Creek Park in order to make room for his tent, police said.
The cost of the damage is estimated at around $55,000, according to authorities.
The incident was discovered on July 3 at around 3 p.m. when the felled trees were reported to authorities.

The unhoused man who frequents the park, Joseph Dippolito, targeted trees near the back of Stony Creek.
The cuts left behind stumps about four feet in height.

He was charged with criminal mischief and related counts. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
