Woman Attacked, Beaten While Leaving Montco Apt. For Work: Police
Security cameras captured the moment a man who seemed to be lying in wait began his attack.
HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman was attacked and beaten in the early morning hours Thursday in Hatfield Township as she left her apartment on the way to work, authorities said.
Security footage from the scene circulating social media showed the man leaping out from the bushes at the victim and repeatedly kicking and punching her before fleeing.
The incident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Maple Avenue.

The suspect was wearing gloves and a ski mask when he attacked the woman, police said.
A neighbor hear her screaming and witnessed the attack, and called 911, 6ABC reports.

Investigators say they believe the attack to be targeted and not a random act of violence.
