1. Teen escapes group home, leads police on chase through Downtown Latrobe (wpxi.com) ā€” A 15-year-old escaped the Adelphoi group home on Main Street and was soon stopped by state police after driving a stolen car through busy Downtown Latrobe without headlights. Troopers used a PIT maneuver to end the short chase, and no injuries were reported. The teen is now in juvenile detention while Westmoreland County authorities decide whether to charge him as an adult.

AAA: Slight Price Rise at the Pump in Western Pennsylvania (gantnews.com) ā€” Latrobe drivers are paying about $3.30 per gallon for regular gas this week, slightly above some nearby towns but below last yearā€™s prices. AAA reports Western Pennsylvania prices have ticked up a few cents overall, even as the national average falls to its lowest holiday-season level in four years.
