• Pennsylvania bill cracks down on truckers who push their luck (landline.media) — Drivers in Laurel Run should know a state lawmaker wants much tougher penalties for truckers who ignore weight limits on the steep, twisting Laurel Run Road between I-81 and I-476. After 43 crashes in three years on the “Giants Despair” stretch, a new bill would raise fines up to $5,000 and could permanently ban repeat offenders from commercial driving statewide.
