'Thousands' Of Child Porn Images Found On Bristol Twp. Man's Devices: DA
A Bristol Township man was sentenced for child pornography possession on Wednesday, authorities said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A township man faces several years in state prison after he was sentenced on Wednesday for child pornography possession of "thousands of images," authorities said.
Jacob N. Mamolou's conviction came after an investigation launched on Dec. 4, 2024, by the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit, which focused on a computer user who requested blocks of suspected child pornography files, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
Mamolou faces two to four years in a state correctional institution following an investigation that uncovered thousands of images of child pornography on his electronic devices, authorities said.

Investigators found more than 12,000 media files, both pictures and videos, depicting apparent child pornography across the devices. An 8TB encrypted hard drive in a custom PC tower contained over 11,886 media files of child pornography.
In addition, a Google Pixel 6 cell phone that belonged to Mamolou was examined and found to contain more than 86 files containing child pornography.

The media files that were discovered depicted prohibited sexual acts involving children age 18, with some victims described as toddlers as young as 18 months, authorities said.
Mamolou was sentenced Wednesday by Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. after pleading guilty on June 26 to one count of child pornography.
In addition to state prison, Bateman ordered a consecutive sentence of five years of probation. Mamolou was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 15 years under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).
State Police confirmed that the computer user who requested child pornography had an IP address registered to a Verizon account held by Mamolou, located in Bristol Township. On Jan. 22, police executed a search warrant at Mamolou's residence.
The investigation found that Mamolou lived in the home for about seven years, was the only occupant, and did not share his password-protected Wi-Fi network.
