2 Found Dead In Bucks Co. Park Over Weekend
The Bucks County Coroner said both bodies were found around the Delaware Canal in separate incidents over the weekend.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Two people were found dead in a Bucks County park over the weekend in separate incidents, authorities said.
On Saturday afternoon, the body of a homeless man was discovered at Delaware Canal State Park in Falls Township in ankle-deep water. On Sunday, Lower Makefield Police found a woman dead in a vehicle near the Delaware Canal.
The woman was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend in New Jersey, with her body dumped in Pennsylvania, authorities said. The Mercer County (N.J.) Prosecutor's Office said a Trenton man shot his girlfriend several times and then left her body in a car in Lower Makefield Township.

Police said there is no danger to the public.
Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said authorities are trying to determine where the homeless man was from. Campi identified him as 32-year-old Robert Brown Kowalski. Campi said the body was located in the Morrisville section of Falls Township in the woods near the Pennwood Crossing mobile home community on Woodside Drive.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop M — Trevose Station — is investigating Kowalski's death.
State Police said Kowalski's body was found by a passerby walking on the Delaware Canal path in the vicinity of the 8000 block of Woodside Drive.
State Police said Kowalski was found in ankle-deep water and did not have any identification on him.
Campi said that autopsies will be performed on the man and the woman on Tuesday.
