$26K Raised for Charity At Falls Twp. Touch A Truck Event

The annual township event on Saturday brought out crowds to check out numerous vehicles.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Two non-profit organizations received $13,000 each in contributions from Falls Township’s annual Touch a Truck event on Saturday.

Township-based The Goofy Gators, which focuses on autism support for local families, and the Pennsbury School District’s Parent Teacher Organization were this year’s benefactors.

Several thousand families attended the popular annual event, which featured dozens of trucks, large machinery, and a variety of fun activities.

Spearheaded by Township Supervisor Jeff Boraski, Touch a Truck offers an opportunity for children to explore vehicles, including first response, construction, electrical, farming, manufacturing, manufacturing, and more.

Since the event began in 2017, sponsors have contributed $144,220, which the township has donated to various charities.

Touch a Truck featured fire and emergency service vehicles, a school bus, and Falls Township
mowers and trucks. KPK Development Co. was the presenting sponsor.
