4-Year-Old Hospitalized After Near Drowning In Falls Twp.
Police officers found the boy under water in the lake at Falls Township Community Park on Sunday afternoon.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A 4-year-old boy is in a Philadelphia hospital after nearly drowning at a lake in Falls Township on Sunday.
Police were called at 2:12 p.m. Sunday to Falls Township Community Park at 9125 Mill Creek Rd., in Levittown.
Officers arrived and found the 4-year-old boy under water at the lake at the park. They waded into the lake and were able to bring the boy back to shore, said police Lt. Nelson Whitney.

He was given medical attention on the scene by officers until paramedics from the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad arrived. The boy was taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital and later transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital For Children in Philadelphia.
Police had not publicly identified the child as of Monday morning and did not say what condition the boy was in at St. Christopher's.
