Patient Who Stole Bucks Co. Ambulance Captured: Police
The patient, who had just been revived from an overdose with Narcan, unbuckled himself and drove off with ambulance, authorities said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bristol Township Police Department has arrested the man they said drove off with an ambulance at Lower Bucks Hospital after he was treated for an overdose.
Cody Lynn-Phipps, 30, faces numerous charges in connection to the incident.
Lynn-Phipps was arrested earlier this week on separate warrants.

When he arrived at the police station, he became unresponsive, authorities said. Penndel medics then revived him with Narcan and transported him to the hospital.
At the hospital, Lynn-Phipps allegedly unbuckled himself and drove off with the ambulance. Police later found it abandoned in Croydon, and a warrant for Lynn-Phipps' arrest was made on Wednesday, March 2.

Lynn-Phipps was arrested on Friday, March 4, and was charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and escape.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Bristol Township police are currently searching for a man who allegedly stole an ambulance on Tuesday, March 1.
Cody Lynn-Phipps, 30, a homeless man from Bucks County, is being sought in connection with the alleged theft of a Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad ambulance, which happened on Tuesday night.
Court records indicate that Lynn-Phipps has an arrest warrant for charges of robbery of a motor vehicle, theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and escape. The warrant was filed by Bristol Township police Wednesday morning.
Before the incident, Lynn-Phipps was arrested on Kenwood Drive and Kindle Lane in Levittown for warrants from the Bucks County Adult Probation Parole Department. He had been laying in the road when police arrived.
Soon after, a Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad ambulance was dispatched to the Bristol Township Police Station on Bath Road, where Lynn-Phipps had become unresponsive. Medics administered Narcan and brought him to Lower Bucks Hospital.
It was after medics parked at the hospital that Lynn-Phipps unbuckled himself and made off with the ambulance, according to police.
The ambulance was found unoccupied shortly thereafter in Croydon, around 11 p.m.
Bristol Township Police issued a five-count arrest warrant for Phipps on Wednesday evening.
