AR-15 Missing Rifle Found In Tullytown

Bristol Township Police said the rifle was located after it was missing following a domestic dispute on Fawn Lane on Wednesday night.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The missing AR-15 rifle used by a man in a domestic dispute on Fawn Lane on Wednesday night has been found, police said.

Lt. Charles Winik said the gun was located with the assistance of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office and the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

He said the rifle was found in Tullytown near Penn Warner.

"The community is safe and secure thanks to multi-jurisdictional effort," Winik said.

Bristol Township Police responded to Fawn Lane at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a domestic dispute involving the rifle.

Police made contact with family members who fled the house. They reported that terroristic threats were made and that the man had a rifle.

Police eventually made contact with the suspect outside of the perimeter. He was unarmed at the time.

He was taken into custody without incident, transported to police headquarters, arraigned, and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $200,000 bail.
