The annual show of the Perseids meteor shower will be most visible this weekend. Where's the best place to watch?

The Perseids are a meteor shower, visible annually when the Earth passes through the tail of the Swift-Tuttle comet, will be most visible Sunday.
That is a good thing because we've got cloudy skies and rain in the forecast until then. Watching it happen isn't just a bit of fun; it's a bit of history as well. The meteor shower has been visible for about 2,000 years, according to NASA.
The American Meteor Society recommends viewing this meteor shower between midnight and dawn Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday the Perseids meteor shower could display more than 100 meteors per hour in the pre-dawn hours Sunday.
