Boil Water Advisory Issued In Levittown
Some residents in a section of Middletown Township must boil water due to maintenance of a water main.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents living in the township's Levittown section.
The advisory from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority (LBCJMA) was issued Tuesday night due to maintenance work on a water main.
It impacts nine service connections by 183 Cobalt Ridge Dr. South in the Cobalt Ridge neighborhood, the authority said.

The authority stated that after the work is completed and water is restored, the advisory will remain in place until two consecutive days of samples are negative for total coliform bacteria with compliant chlorine residuals.
Residents should continue to boil their water during that period until the water is deemed safe for usage.

No eating and drinking establishments are affected by the advisory, the authority said.
