Bomb Threat Received At Bristol School

Bristol Township School District officials said that administrators discovered the threat late Thursday afternoon.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Activities were shut down at a Bristol High School on Thursday afternoon after a bomb threat at the school.

Bristol Township School District officials said that administrators "discovered a bomb threat" at Harry S. Truman High School.

In a social media post, officials said that police were immediately called and all afternoon activities at the school were canceled.

"We will continue to work with the Bristol Township PD to ensure the safety of all staff and students," district officials said in the post. "This investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided to families later tonight."
