Over 50 emergency crews in the Philadelphia region responded to a gas explosion at a Bristol Township nursing home on Tuesday afternoon.
LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — When the call came out about a gas explosion at the Silver Lake Nursing Home in Bristol Township, firefighters, police, and emergency personnel rushed to the scene.
Two people died, and 20 people were hospitalized in the gas explosion that caused a partial collapse of the building in the 900 block of Tower Road on Tuesday. The two victims were both women, including one nursing home resident and a nurse.
The gas explosion is under investigation.
