Bristol Food Market Damaged By Fire

Other businesses in the shopping center were significantly damaged by smoke, Bristol's fire marshal said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A food market in Bristol was heavily damaged by a fire in the early-morning hours on Tuesday.

The fire happened at Euro Food Market, in the Kenwood Shopping Center on Haines Road, said Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

Fire crews were dispatched at 12:43 a.m. on Tuesday.

Dippolito said that fire heavily damaged the food market and caused significant smoke damage to other businesses in the shopping center. The market was closed at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, he said.

He said the fire started in the back of the market. The cause remained under investigation Tuesday morning.
