Bristol Motorcylist In Critical Condition After Crash

A Bristol motorcyclist is in critical condition on Wednesday after two cars on Route 130 in Burlington Township, N.J., earlier this week.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A motorcyclist from Bristol Borough is in critical condition on Wednesday after multiple vehicles struck him two days earlier in Burlington County, N.J., authorities said.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. Monday on Route 130 in Burlington Township, police said.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old man from Bristol, was riding northbound on Route 130 when a Volkswagon SUV struck him at Parker Avenue, authorities said. He was ejected into the southbound lanes, where a Honda Accord hit him, authorities said.

The motorcycle rider was treated at the scene and then airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition as of early Wednesday afternoon.

Both drivers were unhurt. They remained at the scene and have been fully cooperating with investigators, police said. It's unclear what caused the crash.
