BRISTOL, PA — A 19-year-old Bristol man is in jail after being charged with having sex with a 15-year-old girl, then sharing video of the encounter as a form of revenge.

Branden Javon Smith faces multiple felony charges, including indecent assault of a minor younger than 16 and child pornography. He is being held at Bucks County Jail, unable to pay bail set at 10 percent of $75,000.

Bristol Police and county prosecutors told Patch on Thursday that they do not have a copy of the police affidavit in the case they can share publicly. But The Intelligencer reported that Smith is accused of recording a video of the teen performing a sex act with him.

Police said that when the 15-year-old refused to repeat the sex act with him, Smith sent the video to other people, according to the report. Police reportedly began investigating in October, when a 13-year-old girl reported that she'd received the video on the social app Snapchat.

A hearing in the case has been scheduled for Feb. 11, according to court documents.
