BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bristol Township school bus crashed with a pickup truck Tuesday morning, according to school officials.
At about 7 a.m. a truck traveling south on Ford Road lost control, struck a utility pole, flipped over and hit a bus headed to Harry S. Truman High School, according to Bristol Township School District spokeswoman Kellie Dietrich.

Students remained on the bus until emergency crews arrived and "safely transferred" them to another bus, which took them to school after the students were checked out by EMS crew members.
The school nurse and counselors met the students upon their arrival and will remain available to them all day, Dietrich said.
