Bristol Spray Park Set To Reopen Thursday After Closure: Officials
The Bristol Township spray park is slated to reopen following a brief closure this week due to maintenance, officials said.
BRISTOL, PA - The Bristol Township spray park is slated to reopen following a brief closure this week due to maintenance, officials said.
Despite lingering “technical issues” with one of the water pumps, the park is set to reopen Thursday at 10 a.m., the Bristol Township Parks and Recreation department said in a statement on Wednesday.
“We hope that the park will continue to run without interference tomorrow but will post once again if an issue arises,” the parks department said.

The spray park initially closed on Tuesday afternoon to begin setting up for the local police department’s National Night Out event at the park, with a reopening date of Wednesday morning. Citing maintenance issues, the parks department issued an indefinite closure of the spray park.
The reopening comes as forecasters predict "dangerous" and near record-setting temperatures on Thursday in southeastern Pennsylvania. Temperatures in the mid-90s can feel as high as the mid-100s taking factors like humidity into account, according to the National Weather Service.
