Bristol Township Mourns Loss Of Beloved Bus Driver
Nicole DeVincent, 47, died last Thursday after beating cancer. School officials said the bus driver "brightened students' days."
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bristol Township School District community is mourning the loss of a beloved bus driver who died last week.
Nicole DeVincent, 47, died last Thursday at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital after beating esophageal cancer several weeks prior to her death, school officials said.
“Nicole was a caring bus driver who brightened our students’ days, and a wonderful colleague and friend,” said Traci Williams, the district's director of transportation. “We will all miss her and remember her in our hearts.”

The district’s crisis team, counselors, and emotional support staff are available to support families, students, and staff.
Born in Bristol, DeVincent was a resident of the Bristol/Levittown area for most of her life.

She served as a bus driver in Bristol Township School District, where she loved all of her students. She enjoyed painting ceramics, gardening, but most especially cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, her obituary states.
Predeceased by her mother, Helen Kolb, and her Nan, Isabelle Vanzant, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fred DeVincent; her children, Bridget DeVincent (Tianna) and Fred DeVincent, Jr. (Brittany); and her grandchildren, Robert and Everleigh. She is also survived by her nephew, Vincent, and her niece, Sarah Ann.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening, May 4, from 7-9 p.m. and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe St., Bristol Borough, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment is private.
