Vandalism Forces Locked Gates at Quaker Penn Park
Falls Township officials said that vandals recently removed the locks from the park as well.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to prevent vandalism and field damage from motor vehicles driving on them overnight, township officials this week began locking the gates at Quaker Penn Park.
The Falls Township Parks and Recreation Department announced that the locked gates would go into effect on its social media accounts on Monday.
Even with locked gates, problems continue to persist, Falls Township Supervisors Chairman Jeff Dence said.

On the first night that the gates were locked, Dence said a vandal removed the locks.
“The park is closed from dusk until dawn always,” Dence said, adding that the locked gates resulted from sporadic vandalism and field damage. “That’s going to be locked for the foreseeable future.”
