A Brush Fire Was Battled In Falls Township. Where Was It?
The Falls Township Fire Company No. 1 and mutual aid companies battled a brush fire over the weekend at the Waste Management property.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Falls Township Fire Company No. 1 and mutual aid companies battled a brush fire over the weekend on Money Island.
Fire crews responded at 3:11 a.m. Sunday to the area of Money Island, on Waste Management’s property for a brush fire.
Due to a lack of access, fire officials said it took crews an extended period to find the fire.

Fire crews found a deep-seated woods fire about 2 acres in size and began adding field apparatus.
Fire crews were in service for several hours, extinguishing and overhauling the fire.
