Bucks County Firefighter Dies Suddenly
David "Earl" Widmann had been a member of the Edgley Fire Company since 2017.
LEVITTOWN, PA — The Edgley Fire Company has announced that one of its firefighters has died.
David "Earl" Widmann died Wednesday. The Levittown resident had been a member of the fire company since 2017. A cause of death was not immediately released.
Widmann attended the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center before becoming a fireman.

The fire company wrote this message on their Facebook page:
"It is with deep regret that the Officers and Members of the Edgely Fire Company announce the sudden passing of David "Earl" Widmann. He has been an integral part of this department since he joined in 2017. Everyone knew Earl for his smile and great sense of humor. He was a friend to all and an excellent firemen at that. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. Until we meet again, may you Rest In Peace!!!"
