Bucks Co. Foundation Granting Scholarships To Local HS Seniors

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Bucks County foundation will allow local graduating high school seniors to apply for scholarships until this Friday.

The A. Marlyn Moyer, Jr. Scholarship Foundation, based out of Fairless Hills, will be granting several partial scholarships to Bucks County high schoolers that will be attending college and other schools during the 2022-2023 academic year.

The grants will also apply to those pursuing education at universities, technical schools, nursing schools, and other accredited post-secondary institutions. Around six to eight scholarships are awarded, with each one averaging between $2,500 to $5,000.

Students who wish to apply for scholarship grants must be graduating high school seniors or anyone else who is enrolling full-time in one of the aforementioned educational institutions. They must also be residents of Bucks County, showing academic excellence, a record that shows involvement in school clubs and culture, and being in financial need of such scholarships in order to pursue their education.

Graduating high school seniors who are interested in applying can obtain an application from their high school guidance counselor and/or their school website. They can also email scholarship@ammoyerfoundation.com or send the application via mail to the A. Marlyn Moyer, Jr. Scholarship Foundation, located at PO Box 511 in Fairless Hills.

The deadline for the application is this Friday, with winners being chosen in June.
