Bucks Co. High School Damaged In Weekend Burglary: Report

Harry S. Truman High School in Bristol was damaged during an early Sunday burglary on Green Lane, according to a report.

BRISTOL, PA - Harry S. Truman High School in Bristol was damaged during an early Sunday burglary on Green Lane, according to a Levittown Now report.

The pair spread damage around the school as they wandered around the empty building, district spokesperson Kellie Dietrich told the publication.

The total cost of damage was still being tallied as of Monday, but Levittown Now reported a smashed camera, damaged computer monitor, broken window and kicked-in closet door.

Keys were also taken from the property, but Dietrich told the publication that the keys don’t include access to the building’s new entrances.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Bristol police.

The incident comes amid a $11.9 million project at the high school to upgrade heating and cooling infrastructure.

A request for comment from Bristol police was not immediately returned Wednesday morning.
