Bristol Motorcyclist Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash: NJSP

The crash took place at 3:56 a.m. on Sunday on the New Jersey Turnpike in Edison, authorities said.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Bucks County man was killed while riding on his motorcycle early Sunday morning on the New Jersey Turnpike, State Police said.

New Jersey State Police said a 39-year-old Bristol man was killed while riding a Harley Davidson on the New Jersey Turnpike south outer roadway, milepost 84.6, in Edison, at 3:56 a.m. on Sunday.

According to preliminary investigation, the motorcyclist struck a GMC cargo van that was traveling south on the outer roadway. As a result, the driver of the motorcycle was ejected and sustained fatal injuries, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.

State Police said the identification of the motorcyclist is pending next of kin notification.
