Bucks Co. SPCA Doubles Reward To Find Cat Killer
The agency is seeking the arrest of someone who shot and killed a cat in Falls Township last month.
LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County SPCA has doubled its reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible in the fatal shooting of a cat last month.
Cindy Kelly, the Bucks County SPCA's director of communications, said that the reward has doubled to $5,000 thanks to a match from Joyce’s Voice for Cats.
"We had some tips and followed up on them all, but nothing conclusive yet, so we are still hoping someone may come forward with more information," Kelly told Patch.

The fatal shooting involved a cat named Mikey in Falls Township last month.
Joyce’s Voice for Cats, a nonprofit working to manage the local cat population humanely through trap-neuter-return, has matched the Bucks County SPCA’s initial reward offer of $2,500, Kelly said.

Mikey was a neutered male tuxedo cat who was known to be friendly by those who care for a community cat colony at Pennwood Crossing Mobile Home Park in Falls Township, where he as found dead at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 11.
"Out Humane Law Enforcement team continues to follow up on all tips received," Kelly said. "We are hopeful that someone has information that will make the difference in this case so that the responsible party can be held accountable and a measure of justice won for Mikey and those who loved him.
