Car Hits Home In Bristol Township

Bristol Township Police are investigating a crash that happened on Wistar Road on Thursday afternoon.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bristol Township Police Department is investigating a crash on Thursday afternoon in which a car hit a house.

Bristol Township Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:22 p.m. in the 4000 block of Wistar Road.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows that a 2010 Mazda MZ3 was traveling east out of the Wawa parking lot at 7625 New Falls Road. The Mazda went across Wistar Road and came to rest against a house at 4210 Wistar Road.

The home did not suffer any structural damage, police said.

The driver was injured and was transported by Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to St. Mary Medical Center.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Levittown Fire Company #2, Edgely Fire Company, Fairless Hills Fire Department, and the Bristol Township Fire Marshal's Office.
