PENNDEL, PA — A Penndel Borough man already facing charges of sexually abusing six boys is now also accused of possessing child pornography.

Louis Charles Aiello, 58, has been in Bucks County Correctional Facility since June, when he was arrested on the first two charges of sexually assaulting boys. Authorities say he abused the boys between 1993 and 2010, first at his home in Bensalem, then after moving to Penndel.

A new case, which was filed Monday by Falls Township Police, resulted from a search warrant executed at Aiello's home, on Rumpf Avenue, on June 16.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office, detectives seized a Dell laptop and a 4GB thumb drive that day. Analysis of those devices led to the discovery of a number of images of child pornography, prosecutors said.

Two counts of possession of child pornography were filed before District Judge Jan Vislosky.

Aiello originally was charged with sexually abusing the two boys from the time they were 14 years old. In October, the DA's office announced he was facing new charges claiming he sexually abused four other boys, in Bensalem and Penndel.

According to prosecutors, Aiello was friends with one of his original victims' fathers and met the second boy while working at a DJ at a wedding the boy was attending. On Sept. 30, new charges were filed against him in the cases of the four other boys.

One of those boys spoke to detectives less than a week after a news conference announcing the original charges, the DA's office said. Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub had said at the time that investigators believed Aiello had more victims.

The youngest of the four new accusers said he was 7 years old when Aiello began sexually assaulting him, prosecutors said.

Aiello is scheduled to face trail on the charges in March.

Anyone who believes they have been victimized by Aiello, or believes they know someone who has been victimized, is asked to contact Falls Township Police Detective Stephen Reeves at 215-949-9100.
