Clerk Tied Up, Stomped At Gunpoint In Bristol Robbery

The man and woman were wearing surgical masks and talking on cellphones, indicating a third person may have been involved.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A man and woman wearing surgical masks robbed a Bristol store at gunpoint on Saturday, using zip-ties to confine the store clerk, according to police.

The robbery happened at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Five Brothers Produce, at 3100 Veteran Hwy. in Bristol.

According to Bristol Township Police, the two walked into the store and quickly tied up the clerk using zip-ties. The man, who was carrying a semi-automatic pistol, forced the victim to the ground and started stomping on him, police said.

The woman, police said, acted as a lookout and carried the items the pair stole from the store. The two were talking on cellphones as they entered the store, indicating that a third person may have been involved, police said.

They got away in a black, 2017 Honda CRV with Pennsylvania license plate GXN7248.
