Croydon Woman Stabbed In Domestic Dispute: Police

A 56-year-old man was charged with stabbing his ex-girlfriend with a meat fork at a house on Spencer Drive.

CROYDON, PA — A Croydon woman was injured after being stabbed in what police are calling a “violent domestic dispute” that took place on the night of Saturday, April 9.

According to police, the incident occurred at the 1700 block of Spencer Drive in the Croydon section of Bristol Township around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a dispute. Officers found a woman at the house who had sustained stab wounds on each of her arms.

John Hargrove, 56, of Croydon, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, and harassment. He was preliminarily arraigned by District Judge Lisa Gaier on Sunday morning.

The woman told police that Hargrove threatened to kill her multiple times.

Hargrove is being held at Bucks County Jail on bail of 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
