Ex-Bus Driver From Tullytown Pleads To Child Sex Abuse (ICYMI)
Formerly a driver for Pennsbury and Bristol Township schools, he admitted abusing two teen boys, including a foster child.

TULLYTOWN, PA — A former school bus driver in the Pennsbury and Bristol Township school districts has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two teen boys, including a foster child in his care.
John Michael Evans, 40, of Tullytown, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Bucks County Common Pleas Court to two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and one count of sex trafficking of a minor.
Judge Raymond F. McHugh delayed sentencing for 30 days while Evans undergoes evaluation by the Sex Offender Assessment Board.

Evans abused the two boys repeatedly between January 2017 and June 2020, when the more recent victim reported the abuse to Tullytown Police. On Tuesday, Deputy District Attorney Mary Kate Kohler said Evans began sexually abusing his foster child in April 2020, shortly after the boy, then 16, was placed in his care.
The abuse happened "several times a week, too many times to count," the boy told investigators.

In addition to the abuse, prosecutors said Evans possessed nude photos of the boy and arranged sexual encounters with other men in which he included the boy. Evans told the teen to say he was an adult if the other men asked.
The boy said Evans would give him alcohol and marijuana before and after the abusive sessions.
Evans also told the boy about his abuse of the previous victim, saying no one believed the first boy and that no one would believe him if he reported the abuse. That victim, who is now 17, reported in December that Evans had sexually abused him numerous times.
Prior to his arrest, Evans worked as a bus driver for the Pennsbury and Bristol Township school districts.
When Evans was charged in June, Pennsbury said he worked there from Jan. 17, 2001 through May 10, 2013. No infractions were reported in clearances that were completed prior to his hiring and the district had no reports of improper conduct with students while he was there, a spokeswoman said.
In Bristol Township, Evans worked as a router for STA of Pennsylvania, a subcontractor hired by the school district, from June 2013 until he was suspended due to the charges against him, according to district officials.
They also said no infractions were reported in clearances before his hiring and no reports of improper conduct were made against him while he was there.
