Falls Township Parks Closing Friday

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — All Falls Township parks will close at sunset on Friday, as local officials continue to work toward stopping spread of the new coronavirus.

"In the best interest of public safety, please be advised all Falls Township Parks, including Quaker Penn Park, will be closed effective at sunset on April 3, 2020" the township said Friday in a social media post. "We will keep you updated if there are any changes."

Until Friday, the township had allowed use of the parks while urging residents to maintain social distancing and avoid gathering in large numbers.
