Falls Township PD Seeks Donations For Ukraine

The police department is serving as a 24/7 drop-off site for donations that will go toward the people of Ukraine.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Falls Township Police Department will be serving as a 24-7 donation drop-off site for emergency supplies to go to the people of Ukraine.

This latest initiative by the police department was spearheaded by police officer Dean Stecklair, who has family in Ukraine.

The police department plans on loading a plane with donated goods and sending it to Ukraine as the country faces invasion from Russia.

Police Chief Nelson Whitney spoke at an event to announce the charity initiative, saying that his department had also collected ballistic vests, boots, clothing, and medical supplies for the people in the country.

“It is our hope that this will provide some measure of relief and aid directly from the men and women of the Falls Township Police Department to those who are in danger in Ukraine,” Chief Whitney said.

Anyone that is interested in donating any of the above-listed items can bring them to the Falls Township Police Department lobby, located on 188 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills. Donations will be accepted 24/7.
