Falls Twp. Officer Crashed Chasing Motorcycle: Police

The officer was seriously injured in the crash, which happened Saturday night, according to police.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Falls Township are searching for a motorcycle rider after an officer was seriously injured in a crash while chasing the bike over the weekend.

At about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers from the Falls Township Police Department were chasing a motorcycle that police say was being driven recklessly near a residential area. During that chase, an officer was badly hurt when he crashed his police car.

Police are describing the motorcycle they were chasing as a royal blue sports bike. The Police Association of Falls Township is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the bike's rider.
