Falls Twp. Police Department Opens 'Youth Police Academy'

The program will be open to students in grades 7 through 12 and will take place for 10 days in July.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Falls Township Police Department has announced that they will be opening their 'Youth Police Academy' program this summer.

Open to students in grades 7 through 12, including 2022 graduates, the police education program is a great start for students who are interested in a career in law enforcement.

"The 10-day police academy style training program is designed to expose you to the many different aspects that can be found in the law enforcement community," the police department said in a statement.

"While at the academy, you will participate in a variety of activities that actual Police Recruits participate in as part of their training."

Those students who are interested in signing up for the program can talk to their guidance counselor and/or apply online.
