1 Killed In Accident Outside Fairless Hills Giant: Police

The incident occurred inside the Fairless Hills Shopping Center on Wednesday afternoon. One woman, 73, died as a result.

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — A Levittown woman was killed in an accident outside the local Giant Food Store on Wednesday evening.

According to police, around 3 p.m., a man was driving in front of the food store, located within the Fairless Hills Shopping Center, at a low speed when he struck shopping carts being pushed by two people. The impact caused one of the people, a 73-year-old Levittown woman, to fall and suffer a head injury.

She was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne before she passed away shortly after 9:30 p.m.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. No signs of drug or alcohol use were detected by police.
